Corey Palmer, the former front man of Minneapolis-based bands These Moderns Socks and DayKit, has released his first solo EP titled, “Love Trade.”

Released in January 2015, Love Trade is a blend of indie pop and electronic. Palmer wrote every song on the EP and it’s apparent in his vocals. You can tell these are his words.

Slow Reactor is my personal favorite but each song has its own special footprint. One thing in particular that I really like about Palmer’s music is how the piano complements the electronic base of the tracks. To me, it’s the best of both worlds – an old school vibe with some new school toys.

Other notable tracks include: Records and It’s All You Know.

We’ve posted Love Trade for your listening pleasure. You can also find our favorite tracks from the EP on MTIB’s account on Spotify.
