Best Album of 2015 To: Put On While Thinking of Distant Places.

First Bite: “Fool for Love”

Nothing makes me want to buy a big hat, big coat, procure a horse, and hit the trails more than Strange Trails. There’s no reason why this album shouldn’t be performed in its entirety around a bonfire or in a barn. Harmonicas, guitar slides, and song titles like “Dead Man’s Hand” and “Love Like Ghosts” give it the perfect western feel. I’m a fan of both Lord Huron albums but this one currently tops the list.
