Best Album of 2015 To: Put on When You’re in an Unfamiliar Place and You Need to Feel Home.

First Bite: “Life’s a Ball”

I saw Langhorne Slim live in DC on a whim. I was visiting a friend in town and were looking for something to do so we grabbed a pair of tickets at the door and proceeded to see one of my favorite shows of the year. It says a lot about an artist when they can gain fans through the course of one show who know little about their music. I like artists that get emotional to the point where I feel like they’re yelling right at my face to get up and do something about my problems. I get that feeling when listening to The Spirit Moves as well as during the live show.
