Best Album of 2015 To: Put On When You’re Worn Down And Open to An Emotional Journey

First Bite: “The Love You’re Given”

The talent bursting from this man at such a young age is astounding. His creative compositions and elastic voice burn brightly on this EP and in his live, one-man show. As an album purist (from start to finish, in one sitting to fully appreciate the chronology and construction), these four songs are like a tasty four-course meal. The first is an overture and intro, followed by an evolving crescendo, the third track swells and crackles, and for dessert, an American gospel folk song re-imagined before it falls to pieces as the EP comes to a close. His first full-length album sits atop my most anticipated albums of next year (out in March).
