Best Album of 2015 To: Bring Back a Particular Innocence.

First Bite: “Midway”

I first heard Bad Bad Hats over the airwaves. I could have screamed when I found out they were local. The station was playing them nonstop. They’re sweeping The Cities one venue at a time, and the regional identity and emotion within their music leaves me pleased I caught them at 7th Street. There is innocence to being home in their sound, and it’s the placemaking within the music that brings back feelings of innocence.
